Dojo Creed

The Master said , shall I teach you what Senseiship is ?

Be free from self-display, and therefore you shall shine
Free from self-assertion, and thereby being distinguished
Free from self-boasting, your merits widely acknowledged
Free from self-complacency, ascend the ladder of superiority

When you know a thing to hold that which you know, and when you do not know
A thing to allow that you do not know it; this is true “Senseiship”.

Self-display – An exhibition or showing off of one’s skills
Self-assertion - A show if one’s superiority over others
Self-boasting - To brag or openly glorify oneself
Self- complacency - Self-satisfaction accompanied by unawareness of actual dangers or deficiencies
